One 5-minute exercise a day, sent to your inbox. You do it with a pen, write down your own score, and keep the sheet. That's the whole program.
Day 1 arrives right away. One email a day after that.
No cost, no card, no phone number.
Check your inbox in the next couple of minutes. If it isn't there, look in Promotions or Spam and drag it across so the rest of the week lands properly.
Read the 15 words in the email once, slowly. Close it. Wait two minutes. Then write down every word you can bring back — in any order.
What you get
Everything arrives by email. There is nothing to download, nothing to sign into, and nothing to buy at the end of it.
A word list, a short shopping list, a name-and-face pairing, a number span, a "where did I put it" recall, a short story retell, and a repeat of day 1.
A single page with a row per day and a box for the number you got. Print it or copy the layout onto any paper you have.
A short written guide on day 7 explaining what a score does and does not tell you, and why comparing yourself to other people isn't useful.
No install, no password, no tracking of what you wrote. Your answers stay on your paper — we never see them.
How it works
The whole point is that it's small enough to actually finish. Most people do it with morning coffee.
Day 1 arrives within a couple of minutes, with the score sheet attached as a printable page.
Read the instructions, set the timer, and write your answers on paper. Then write the one number on your sheet.
On day 7 you repeat day 1's exercise and read the guide. You end the week with seven numbers in your own handwriting.
Read this first
We'd rather be clear about this on the front page than have you find out on day 4.
If you are worried about your memory, or someone close to you is, the useful next step is a conversation with a doctor — not a worksheet. This program is a way to pay attention on purpose for a week, and nothing more. See our full Disclaimer.

FAQ
Yes — all seven days, the sheet and the guide are free, and we don't ask for a card or a phone number. We run this program because it's how people find out we exist; some of them later read what else we send. You can unsubscribe on day 1 and keep everything you've already received.
No. There's no app and no account. Everything arrives as a normal email you can read on a phone, a laptop or a printout.
It means you wrote down that many items, on that day, under those conditions. It isn't a percentage, a level or a health measure, and we deliberately don't give you a "normal" range to compare it with. Day 7 explains this properly.
No, and please don't use it that way. It is not a screening or diagnostic tool of any kind. If your memory is worrying you or someone you live with, speak to a doctor — they have proper instruments for that, and this isn't one of them.
No. You write on your own paper and we never ask you to send anything back. What we hold is what you typed into the form on this page: your first name and your email address. See the Privacy Policy.
About five minutes a day, plus a two-minute wait built into some exercises. Thirty-five to forty-five minutes across the whole week.
Nothing breaks. Pick it up whenever you like — the emails stay in your inbox, and the sheet doesn't care what date you write in it.
